Title I: Attacks on the nation's fundamental interests

Article 410-1
The fundamental interests of the nation are understood in the sense of the present title of its independence, the integrity of its territory, its security, the republican form of its institutions, the means of its defence and diplomacy, the safeguarding of its population in France and abroad, the balance of its natural environment and its environment and the essential elements of its scientific and economic potential and cultural heritage.

Chapter I: Betrayal and Espionage

Article 411-1
The facts defined by Articles 411-2 to 411-11 constitute treason when committed by a Frenchman or a soldier in the service of France and espionage when committed by any other person.

Article 411-3
The delivery of equipment, constructions, equipment, facilities, installations and national defence equipment to a foreign power, foreign company or organization or their agents is punishable by 30 years of criminal detention and a fine of 450,000 euros.

Article 411-6
The delivery or making available to a foreign power, a foreign company or organization or their agents of intelligence, processes, objects, documents, computerized data or files whose exploitation, disclosure or meeting is likely to harm the fundamental interests of the nation is punishable by fifteen years of criminal detention and a fine of 225,000 euros.

Article 411-7
Collecting or collecting information, processes, objects, documents, computerized data or files whose exploitation, disclosure or meeting is likely to harm the fundamental interests of the nation is punishable by ten years' imprisonment and a fine of 150,000 euros for exploitation, disclosure or meeting to a foreign power, foreign company or organization or their agents.

Article 411-8

Article 411-9
Destroying, damaging or diverting any document, equipment, construction, equipment, installation, device, technical device or automated information processing system, or bringing in wrongdoing, where this fact is likely to harm the fundamental interests of the nation, is punishable by fifteen years of criminal detention and a fine of 225,000 euros. When committed for the purpose of serving the interests of a foreign power, foreign company or organization or under foreign control, the same fact is punishable by twenty years of criminal detention and a fine of 300,000 euros.

Article 411-10
Providing false information to france's civilian or military authorities, in order to serve the interests of a foreign power, a foreign company or organization or under foreign control, to the civil or military authorities of France that is likely to mislead them and undermine the fundamental interests of the nation.
